It was one of the most moving performing experience I’ve ever had. I could not dream a better space for us to perform our repertoire: the glass panel look out to the majestic redwood forest as the backdropped to the dark and sensual sound of Barber; the sun gradually sets as the de Falla melancholic melody suspends long above us. Finally our program ends with Poulenc’s light-hearted whimsical dialogues between cello and piano.
It was a very special performing experience for me as I felt a powerful energy from our audience directly.
My sincere gratitude to our audience, it is you who make the recital possible.
I am looking forward to my next faculty recital at CSMA. The program features all-French repertoire; first-stop of my World Music Chamber Serie. Stay tuned!!
